OXFORD — The Oxford Farmers’ Market will be packed September 26 with over three dozen vendors in addition to a very generous fundraiser for our veterans, two terrific raffles, and a Fiber Friends Gathering on the East Lawn of Lafayette Park. It’s a great way to wrap up the Market's official summer season on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Farm to Flame, the Market’s newest prepared food vendor will be donating all proceeds from their sales on Saturday to the Oxford American Legion in gratitude to all our veterans. St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the Oxford Lions will both be selling raffle tickets to be drawn at Oxtoberfest and Applefest on October 3. The RPMs will be performing in the Bandstand starting at 10 a.m. The Art Table and Community Table will be set for diners and artists. The Market is also holding a Fiber Friends Gathering for all those who love weaving, knitting, tatting, spinning, felting, or for those who would like to learn more. It will be a casual gathering of creative spirits around the fiber arts.

All of these activities are in addition to the gorgeous foods and artisan crafts for which the Market is known. Now is the time to stock up, while all these products— straight from a local source and the skilled hands of your neighbors—are still available.

During the month of October, the Market takes a break to prepare for the start of the Winter Season in November.
