SHERBURNE— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves field hockey team took on Sauquoit Valley on Wednesday night. Both teams played competitively and were kept scoreless up until late in the third quarter when Sauquoit got on the board. Sauquoit won the contest 4-0.

S-E looked promising with nice touches by Aubrey Davis and Alivia Franklin while Kamri Peek, Mackenzie Percival, and Addie Tyrell played good defense on the night.

Goalkeeper Peyton Darragh made six saves in the loss to a tough Red Hawks team that picked up a lot of penalty corners. S-E was also held to five shots on goal in the effort.

S-E (0–5) hosts Mount Markham on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
