HARPURSVILLE— The Oxford Blackhawks and the Afton/Harpursville girls soccer teams faced off in a MAC league matchup on Tuesday afternoon in Harpursville. Oxford, who came away with a big victory against Walton/Downsville the night before, had a strong offensive game again with a 6-0 win.

Emily Williams scored another hat trick in the contest while Sadie Lang netted in two goals and Abby Wilkes had one goal. Lang and Jayne Fleury picked up assists.

Afton/Harpursville’s Appalonia Bushaw made 20 saves in net with Oxford continuing to find opportunities to shoot.

Oxford (3-2) hosts UV/GMU on Friday under the lights at 7 p.m. while Afton/Harpursville (0-4-1) heads to B-G on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
