NORWICH — The Norwich Purple Tornado girls’ tennis team hosted Windsor for a STAC league matchup. Coming off a homecoming victory against CV, Norwich defeated the Black Knights 6-1.

Two of the six points came on forfeits on two of the three doubles.

Alice Boland and Paulina He got the win in the first doubles by scores of 6-1, 6-0.

Norwich also earned points by taking three out of four singles matches.

Riley Wolford defeated her opponent 6-3 and 6-1 while Rori Gates won in two 6-1 sets.

Finley Farrow earned the win in two 6-3 sets. Elle Waters fought in her match, but came up short.

Norwich hosts Johnson City this evening at 5 p.m.
