NEW BERLIN — The Unadilla Valley Storm volleyball team faced Sidney at home on Monday night, falling three sets to one. UV played a competitive match throughout with taking the first set 26-24 but fell in the last three by scores of 25-19, 25-18, and 25-20.

Jade Cook filled each category in scoring for UV with seven service points, one ace, four kills, 11 assists, two blocks, and three digs to help contribute. Shyla Roberts added seven service points, five aces, 10 kills, a block, and a team-high 13 digs.

MaKenzie Knuth had 10 digs while Piper Hine had nine digs and Emily Vatovee finished with four service points, three aces, and three kills in the loss.

UV heads to a tournament in Johnson City on Saturday.
