SOUTH NEW BERLIN— The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club finished its final week of play on September 2.

The Stadium’s Al Bush and Al Patten finished the season out on top with a final record of 55.5-16.5 with Potter’s Tires’ Billy Schermerhorn and John Edwards, who lead most of the season, in second place at 55-17. Kelly’s Flowers, Webster Paving, and Fun Lovers finished off as the top five teams.

Billy Schermerhorn and Becky Moffitt swept both the men and women’s leaderboards.

Schermerhorn had a high singles game of a 74 and a high series of a 204.

Moffitt finished with a high singles game of a 55 and a high series of a 140.

Potter’s Tires took both the team high singles and series while The Stadium won the high single handicap and Carpet Protectors took the high series handicap to close out the season.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club resumes for a new season in 2027 in April.
