DOWNSVILLE— The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats girls’ soccer team traveled to Downsville to compete in the first round of the Flannery tournament, where they faced familiar league opponent Delhi.

B-G played a tough competitive matchup and won 1-0 against the Bulldogs. Breegan George had a long 30 yard kick to net the lone and game-winning goal.

Goalie Saige Barnard had four saves on the clean sheet.

B-G (1-0) is expected to return to the Flannery tournament this weekend.
