SIDNEY— The Greene Trojans boys’ soccer team faced off against Sidney on the road in just the second game of the 2026 season on Wednesday. Greene returned home with a 1-0 victory.

Jacob Acevedo scored on a pass from Judd Dutcher. Dutcher led the Trojans with five shots on goal while Acevedo and Grant Leonard both had three shots on goal.

Greene (1-1) hosts non-league opponent Cincinnatus on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
