SHERBURNE— The Unadilla Valley/GMU golf team returned to action in back-to-back matches on Thursday, facing off against Deposit-Hancock at Mountain Top. UV/GMU continues to improve in each match despite falling short in a close 227-237 deficit.

Carter Simonds led the team with a 42 as Urijah Drake shot a 44 and Evan Hill with a 46.

Gavin Underwood chipped in a 48 while Asher Harrington added a 57 and Declan Potter finished as the team’s sixth golfer on the day.

UV/GMU (0-4) hosts Greene on Tuesday at 3:45 p.m.
