GREENE – A Greene man has been charged with one count of strangulation in the second degree after sheriff’s deputies say he choked another individual during a domestic dispute.
The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Ross I. Scribner on July 3 upon investigation of a reported domestic incident at a home in the Town of Greene.
Investigators say Scribner allegedly strangled another individual in the course of the argument.
Scribner was arraigned in central arraignment court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $2,000 cash bail.
Scribner was scheduled to appear in the Town of Greene Court at a later date.
