NORTH PITCHER -The Otselic Valley Fishing & Heritage Association, in cooperation with the North Pitcher Community Heritage Society, invites the public to share and listen to stories about the historic Loomis Hay Loft at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12, at the North Pitcher Church, 1069 State Highway 26.

For nearly 40 years beginning in 1934, the rural dance hall drew visitors from throughout Chenango County and beyond for round and square dancing to the music and calls of the musicians who performed there.

Attendees are encouraged to bring photos, documents and other historic items celebrating the venue's role in the northwest Chenango County community.
