UV scholarship fund accepting applications for continuing education awards

NEW BERLIN — The Unadilla Valley Community Scholarship Fund is accepting applications for its Continuing Education Scholarship for the 2026-27 academic year.

The fund will award up to two scholarships of $2,500 each to eligible graduates of Unadilla Valley High School. The scholarships are intended to help with non-tuition expenses related to attending a postsecondary institution, including books, food, housing, transportation and required supplies.

Applicants must be graduates of Unadilla Valley High School, have completed at least one full year of a postsecondary program, be enrolled full time with 12 or more credit hours in a college, university, vocational or technical school for fall 2026, and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously received a UVCSF scholarship.

Applications must be postmarked by July 10, 2026. No applications will be accepted after that date. Award notifications are scheduled for July 22, 2026, and scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the institution of higher learning.

Required application materials include proof of full-time enrollment for fall 2026, a transcript, personal statement, essay, resume, sealed letter of recommendation and optional photo.

Applications are posted on the Unadilla Valley Central School website, uvstorm.org, on the district’s news page.

Completed application materials should be mailed to Unadilla Valley Community Scholarship Fund, PO Box F, New Berlin, NY 13411.

The Unadilla Valley Community Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides scholarships to eligible UVCS graduates to support access to postsecondary education.
