EARLVILLE - Earlville Opera House (EOH) is excited to present a jam-packed Summer filled with amazing arts classes. This series is dedicated to fun engaging activities for people of all ages.
This Summer we have classes ranging from pottery to fiber arts, and a three-part songwriting series.
To register for classes, call our office at 315-691-3550 or visit online at earlvilleoperahouse.com.
For the month of July, join in a “Build Your Own Pottery Open Studio with Village Clay” here at EOH.
This class is on July 25 at 1 p.m. The fee is $50 per person and $45 per EOH member and Earlville resident. The max class size is ten people. Build two tray/plates and then use stamps to create fantastical textures & designs. The clay pieces will be glazed during the class and Village Clay will take the finished projects back to their studio to glaze and fire in their kiln for a later pickup.
For the month of August, join our “Introduction to Weaving” where participants will learn the basics on a cardboard loom with art instructor Dana Shiflett. This class is on August 22 at 1 p.m. The fee is $15 per person and $12 per EOH member and Earlville resident! The max class size is eight people, and you must register by August 20. Participants will not only make their own woven masterpiece but be able to keep their loom from the class.
For the month of September, a fan-favorite series returns with our “Songwriting Workshop Series”, led by local musician Reyna Stagnaro.
This three-part class runs September 12th and 26th and October 10th. Classes lead to a Songwriter Showcase on the 1892 Main Stage on November 7. The fee is $20 per class session or $45 for the entire series! Learn more online on our website.
