SHERBURNE - The Friends of Rogers are excited to welcome the community to the Strawberry Blossom Soirée this Saturday, June 13th, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the historic Sherburne Inn.

Guests can look forward to live music, light bites, a bouquet-making station, a

strawberry-themed bake sale, wildflower seed packets, and art from Friends of Rogers Artist in Residence Branden Law. Created during Branden's 2025 Artist Residency at Rogers Center, his scientific illustrations depict the connection between pollinators and the native plants they depend on. Print sales will benefit both the artist and the Friends of Rogers, the nonprofit organization which operates Rogers Center, providing access to environmental education for the CNY region and beyond.

Tickets are $25 per person, children under 12 are free, and all proceeds support public programming and stewardship at Rogers Center. Tickets can be purchased at friendsofrogers.org/strawberry.

“Combining the arts with environmental education is perhaps one of the most exciting and impactful ways to protect our wild and natural world,” said David Carson, Executive Director for the Friends of Rogers. “We are so fortunate that Branden Law, the talented and enthusiastic painter, joined us for a summer of arts and environmental education at Rogers. Come get your signed print while they’re still for sale!”

The Friends of Rogers extends sincere thanks to the generous sponsors who have made this event possible: Colgate Bookstore, UHS, and Zappone Subaru.
