SOUTH NEW BERLIN— The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club is into its fifth week of play with Potter’s Tires (Billy Schermerhorn and John Edwards) in first all by themselves; which they held the top spot for the third straight week, even with a tie last week. The Stadium (Al Bush/Al Patten) moved from fourth to second to be a half a point back from first with Kelly’s Flowers (Lee Coon/Jess Sherwood) sliding down one spot to third.

Webster Paving (Ed Webster/Bob Wells) and Old Skool Lawnmower Repair & Service (Larry Shaw/Darla Smith) round out the top five.

Lee Coon and Al Patten split the men’s leaderboards with Coon having the high singles with a 73 with Patten behind him with a 72. Patten took the high series with a 196 with Coon in second with a 186.

Kate Lloyd swept the women’s leaderboards with a high singles of a 71 and a high series of a 179.

Potter’s Tires took the team high singles and swept the handicap singles and series. Webster Paving took the team high series with a 308 with Potter’s Tires behind them with a 307.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club meets every Wednesday night through now until September.
