CHENANGO COUNTY - This year’s Retired Educators of New York (RENY) Chenango Scholarship winner is Clark Vischi, awarded at the association's spring meeting.
Clark will be attending SUNY New Paltz and plans to become an English teacher and drama coach. He currently attends Sherburne-Earlville High School and is the son of Jessica Moquin and Christian Vischi.
The objectives of Retired Educators New York are to promote the economic, social, and professional status of retired educators; to afford the opportunity for the expression and interchange of opinions on subjects of special interest; to act on behalf of retired educators in matters involving their needs; to work for the advancement of education in our state and our nation; and to promote the status of all senior citizens. Providing a scholarship to future educators addresses the objective for the advancement of education.
