SIDNEY— The 2026 MAC track and field championship was held at Sidney High School on Wednesday, where the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats girls won the title with 164 points. The Sidney boys claimed the title with B-G in second place in a close 135.67-134.33 between the two positions.

Girls’ Track:
Lalaenia Baldwin won the 2000 meter steeplechase with a top time of 8:48.96 with Macey LaFever in third with a time of 9:43.28. Isabel Suda finished fourth with a time of 10:06.55.
Laila Williams took second in the 100 meter hurdles with a new best time of 16.62 seconds, behind Harpursville/Afton’s leading 16.39. Jayslin Henderson took fifth with a time of 18.78 seconds.
LaFever, Maddie Ingham, Jalyn Winans, and Madalynn Beardslee took second in the girls’ 4x800 with a time of 12:55.87, behind UV’s leading 10:56.89.
Madisyn Larsen won the 100 meter dash with the fastest time of 13.03 seconds as Keelan Ammon came in fourth place with a time of 13.52 seconds and Brenna George in sixth with a time of 13.88 seconds.
Larsen also won the 400 meter hurdles with a top time of 1:08.09 while Jayslin Henderson took fifth with a time of 1:20.59.
Ingham took second in the 1500 meter run with a time of 5:16.89, behind Oxford-Greene’s leading 5:10.75.
Jalyn Winans finished seventh with a time of 6:05.07.
Ingham also took second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:32.47, behind Oxford-Greene’s leading 2:31.89.
Ammon took second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:05.86, behind Sidney’s leading 59.20.
Isabel Suda finished 13th with a time of 1:18.68 with Shweta Fazio behind her in 14th (1:24.38).
Ammon also took second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.04 seconds, behind Sidney’s leading 25.98 seconds. Kayla Patton took fifth with a new best time of 29.80 seconds with Fazio in 11th with a time of 32.03 seconds.
Macey LaFever took fifth in the 3000 meter run with a time of 12:56.49 as Jalyn Winans came in seventh with a time of 13:02.69.
Maddie Ingham, Madisyn Larsen, Laila Williams, and Kayla Patton won the girls’ 4x400 with the fastest time of 4:24.27.
Ammon, Brenna George, Kayla Patton, and Jayslin Henderson took third in the girls’ 4x100 meter relay with a time of 58.01 seconds.
Girls’ Field:
Kayla Patton took fifth in the girls’ high jump as she cleared four feet, four inches. The sophomore also came in fourth place in the long jump with a jump of 14 feet, eight inches. Jayslin Henderson finished 12th with a jump of 13 feet and a quarter inch.
Lalaenia Baldwin won the girls’ triple jump with a top jump of 32 feet, one and a quarter inch. Madisyn Larsen took fifth with a jump of 30 feet, two inches.
Marissa Mayo took second in the discus with a throw of 96 feet, three inches, behind Sidney’s leading 104-7. Tori Suda took third with a new best throw of 90 feet, seven inches with Hailey Maye in 13th with a throw of 60 feet, seven inches.
Mayo also took second in the shot put with a throw of 32 feet, one inch, behind Sidney’s leading 32-8. Suda took third with a throw of 31 feet, eight and 3/4 inches with Abby Fitzgerald in sixth with a throw of 27 feet, four and a half inches.
Boys’ Track:
Rowan Beasinger took third in the boys’ 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 12:07.34 with Christian Campbell behind him in fourth place with a time of 13:12.99. Matthew Wombacker took fifth with a time of 14:04.01.
Harpo Hardt won the 110 meter hurdles with the fastest time of 15.23 seconds as Jackari Garipoli took fifth with a time of 18.96 seconds.
Hardt took second in the 400 meter hurdles with a new best time of 59.41 seconds, behind Sidney’s top 58.12 seconds. My’Kel George came in fourth place with a time of 1:09.06.
Owen Degan, Ethan Beardslee, My’Kel George, and Rowan Beasinger took second in the boys’ 4x800 with a time of 9:11.26, behind Walton/Downsville’s leading 8:53.04.
Isaiah Hampton won the 100 meter dash with the top time of 11.22 seconds with Hardt in third with a time of 11.35 seconds.
Davis Barnard came in 13th in the boys’ 400 meter dash with a time of 1:05.18 as Theo Loya finished 15th with a time of 1:09.25.
Owen Degan won the 1600 meter run with the fastest time of 4:44.11 and ran to a fifth place finish in the 800 with a time of 2:12.45.
Isaiah Hampton took second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.23 seconds, behind Delhi’s leading 23.10 seconds. Davis Barnard came in 16th with a new best time of 27.77 seconds with Theo Loya in 19th (28.43).
Degan took second in the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:21.81, behind Sidney’s leading 10:19.34. Rowan Beasinger earned a seventh place finish with a time of 11:41.26 with Christian Campbell in ninth with a new best time of 13:29.55.
Ethan Beardslee, My’Kel George, Jackari Garipoli, and Matthew Wombacker came in fourth place in the boys’ 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:54.56.
Boys’ Field:
Isaiah Hampton won the boys’ high jump as he cleared a top five feet, 10 inches. Ethan Beardslee came in fourth as the junior cleared five feet, four inches.
Matthew Wombacker cleared a height of nine feet in the pole vault for seventh place.
Hampton also won the long jump with a top jump of 21 feet, nine and a half inches.
Nolan Foster took fifth with a jump of 18 feet, four and 3/4 inches with Ethan Beardslee in 10th with a jump of 17 feet, four and a half inches.
Harpo Hardt won the triple jump with a top jump of 41 feet, 11 and a half inches with Foster in sixth with a jump of 36 feet, 11 and a half inches.
Ryan Larsen came in sixth place in the discus with a throw of 109 feet, two inches. Caleb Larsen finished 11th with a throw of 94 feet, 11 inches with Charlie Buccino in 19th with a throw of 67 feet, five inches.
Ryan Larsen took third in the shot put with a throw of 42 feet and a half inch. Caleb Larsen threw for 34 feet, 10 and a quarter inches for 11th place with Brian Lynn in 17th with a throw of 28 feet.

Amber Tyler took fifth in the girls’ 2000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:37.87.
Appalonia Bushaw won the girls’ 100 meter hurdles with the fastest time of 16.39 seconds with teammate Kathleen Charette in eighth with a time of 19.06 seconds.
Ailish Munson, Angelina Quaglia, Gabriella Gross, and Tabitha Charette came in fourth place in the girls’ 4x800 with a time of 13:28.71.
Kathleen Charette earned a seventh place finish in the 100 meter dash with a time of 14.04 seconds as Quaglia came in sixth place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:09.64.
Tabitha Charette finished 15th in the same event with a time of 1:31.11.
Corrine Hine earned a top 10 finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 31.72 seconds.
Gross came in eighth place in the 3000 meter run with a time of 14:03.74.
Bushaw, Kathleen Charette, Emma Snow, and Alaysia Thomas took fifth in the girls’ 4x100 with a time of 59.19 seconds.
Kathleen Charette, Tabitha Charette, Munson, and Quaglia came in sixth place in the girls’ 4x400 with a time of 5:14.05.

Appalonia Bushaw won the girls’ high jump as she cleared a top four feet, 10 inches. The sophomore also won the long jump with a top jump of 17 feet, one inch.
Hiliana Mendoza jumped 11 feet, three and 3/4 inches for 18th place in the long jump.
Corrine Hine finished 11th in the triple jump with a jump of 26 feet, one and a quarter inch with Amber Tyler in 12th with a jump of 24 feet, 10 and a half inches.
Charlotte Quick came in sixth place in the discus with a throw of 75 feet, two inches as Jaylee Kehoe followed in seventh with a throw of 72 feet, three inches.
Madison Joslin finished 16th with a throw of 52 feet, 10 inches.
Kehoe came in seventh in the shot put with a throw of 26 feet, nine and a half inches with Quick in 12th with a throw of 24 feet and a quarter inch. Kelsey Brewster threw for 18 feet, 11 and 3/4 inches to finish 16th.
Boys’ Track:
Sean Fowler took second in the boys’ 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:17.81, behind Oxford-Greene’s leading 10:37.90. Connor Rowe came in sixth place with a new best time of 15:23.08.
Jake Barber earned a fourth place finish in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 18.22 seconds with Roderick Dalmida in sixth with a time of 21.26 seconds.
Barber took fifth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.82 seconds with Nolan Shofkom in seventh with a time of 11.90 seconds.
Max DiRosa finished 18th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:12.20.
Marcus Chavis took fifth in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:10.14.
Fowler took third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:11.10 as Mason Lans came in ninth with a time of 2:25.70.
Jayden DeLeon took fifth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.22 seconds with Xander Quick in 12th with a time of 27.01 seconds and Chavis in 14th (27.13).
Pierce Bushaw, Jayden DeLeon, Nolan Shofkom, and Jake Barber took second in the boys’ 4x100 meter relay with a time of 46.40 seconds, behind Sidney’s leading 45.19 seconds.

Pierce Bushaw took second in the boys’ high jump as he cleared five feet, eight inches with Nolan Shofkom behind him in third, clearing five feet, six inches.
Jayden DeLeon came in sixth place in the long jump with a jump of 18 feet, three and 3/4 inches. Daniel Woodruff finished 11th with a jump of 17 feet, one and a quarter inch. Kaden Kehoe jumped 16 feet, 10 and a quarter inches for 13th place.
Chris Boyer earned a fourth place finish in the triple jump with a jump of 37 feet, five and a half inches as Roderick Dalmida took fifth with a jump of 37 feet, one and a quarter inch.
Braylon Atkinson took fifth in the discus with a throw of 112 feet, seven inches with Charles Closs in 13th with a throw of 91 feet, five inches. Damien Nickerson finished 18th with a throw of 72 feet, three inches.
Cooper Warren came in seventh in the shot put with a throw of 39 feet, two and 3/4 inches.
Closs threw for 34 feet to finish in 12th as Alex Affify came in 13th with a throw of 33 feet, nine and a half inches.

Joyce Coston came in 13th place in the girls’ 100 meter hurdles with a time of 21.94 seconds and finished eighth in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:22.89.
Clara Leach took second in the 100 meter dash with a new best time of 13.44 seconds, behind B-G’s leading 13.03 seconds.
Clare Tompkins won the 1500 meter run with the fastest time of 5:10.75 and also took first in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:31.89.
Lilliana Davalius came in seventh with a time of 2:46.94 with Ellie Beadle in 10th with a time of 3:11.32.
Amani Amin finished 11th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:15.16.
Amelia Moroch earned a seventh place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 30.85 seconds with Charlotte Hibler in 16th with a time of 33.28 seconds.
Leach, Maddy Wise, Makenzie Williams, and Moroch came in fourth in the girls’ 4x100 with a time of 58.90 seconds. Davalius, Coston, Leach, and Tompkins also achieved a fourth place finish in the 4x400 with a time of 4:42.60.

Khloe Waltz came in fourth place in the high jump as she cleared four feet, four inches.
Amelia Moroch and Waltz both jumped in the long jump with Moroch in second with a jump of 20 feet, nine and a quarter inches and Waltz in 16th with a jump of 15 feet, 10 and a half inches.
Clara Leach earned a fourth place finish in the triple jump with a jump of 31 feet, six and a quarter inches with Moroch in eighth with a jump of 28 feet, eight and a quarter inches.
Kaitlynn Ives came in fourth in the discus with a throw of 84 feet, 11 inches as Londynn Widrick finished 15th with a throw of 56 feet, seven inches.
Widrick threw for 25 feet, two inches for ninth place in the shot put with Ives in 11th with a throw of 24 feet, three inches.

Anthony Bourn won the 3000 meter steeplechase with the fastest time of 10:37.90.
Bourn, Haven Bourn, Sherman Ludolph, and Calvin Moore took fifth in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:59.75.
Liam Griffin came in eighth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.36 seconds.
Keegan Waltz won the 400 meter dash with a top time of 50.48 seconds with Eddie Golden in sixth with a time of 54.74 seconds.

Noelle Fernandez-Naughton came in seventh in the girls’ long jump with a jump of 13 feet, seven inches with Mackenzie Lindholm behind her in eighth place with a jump of 13 feet, five inches. Avery Golliver finished 16th with a jump of 11 feet, six and 3/4 inches.
Fernandez-Naughton took third in the triple jump with a jump of 31 feet, nine and a quarter inches with Golliver in ninth with a jump of 28 feet and a half inch. Molly Sickmond came in 13th with a jump of 24 feet, nine and a quarter inches.
Margaret Kemnah finished 17th in the shot put with a throw of 17 feet, four and a half inches.

Aidan James, Jake Favinger, Ben Kemnah, and Caleb Dix came in fourth place in the boys’ 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:17.70.
Denzel Peter earned a sixth place finish in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.83 seconds.
Ben Kemnah came in eighth place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 57.46 seconds as Braden Golliver finished 11th with a time of 1:00.57 and Dominic Berthel in 12th (1:01.76).
Jake Favinger took third in the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:53.02 and came in fourth place in the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:26.05.
Caleb Dix ran to a 12th place finish in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:41.20.
Wade Law, Killian Wood, and Denzel Peter all competed in the 200 meter dash, where Law came in ninth place with a time of 26.42 seconds. Wood finished 17th with a time of 27.97 seconds with Peter in 21st (32.39 seconds).
Law, Peter, Jayden Edwards, and Brayden Prentice took fifth in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 48.64 seconds as Brodey Cattanach, Braden Golliver, Dominic Berthel, and Ben Kemnah took fifth in the 4x400 with a time of 3:59.26.

Denzel Peter took third in the boys’ long jump with a jump of 19 feet, 10 and a half inches.
Jayden Edwards earned a ninth place finish with a jump of 17 feet, five and a half inches with Braden Golliver in 12th with a jump of 16 feet, four and a quarter inches.
Brodey Cattanach took third in the triple jump with a jump of 38 feet, seven and a quarter inches with Edwards in seventh with a jump of 35 feet, four inches. Brayden Prentice finished ninth with a jump of 33 feet and a half inch.
Steven Johnson came in 16th in the discus with a throw of 72 feet, 11 inches as Dan Church threw for 55 feet, four inches for 21st and Thomas Harrington finished 22nd with a throw of 41 feet, seven inches.
Church came in 20th in the shot put with a throw of 25 feet, two and a quarter inches with Johnson behind him in 21st with a throw of 24 feet, seven and a quarter inches.
Harrington finished 23rd with a throw of 17 feet, six and 3/4 inches.
