Local Track And Field Teams Compete In Delhi’s MAC Relays

DELHI— The Bainbridge-Guilford, Harpursville/Afton, Oxford/Greene, and Unadilla Valley track and field teams traveled to Delhi on Tuesday, where they competed in the MAC Relays.

The B-G girls took second in the meet with 58 points, behind Sidney’s leading 83 points.

The Storm girls took third with 37 points as Oxford-Greene took fifth with 28.50 points and Harpursville/Afton finished sixth with 25 points.

The Bobcats boys took second behind Sidney with 55 points. Oxford-Greene took third with 47 points with Harpursville/Afton came in fifth place with 29 points with UV in seventh with 21 points.

Girls’ Track:

Laila Williams, Jayslin Henderson, Madisyn Larsen, and Breegan George won the girls’ 3x100 meter shuttle hurdle with a time of 54.09 seconds.

Lalaenia Baldwin, Macey LaFever, Jalyn Winans, and Isabel Suda took third in the girls’ 3x1500 meter relay with a time of 18:38.40.

Keelan Ammon, Jayslin Henderson, Laila Williams, and Isabel Suda took fifth in the girls’ 1600 sprint relay with a time of 5:04.25.

Brenna George, Shweta Fazio, Brooklinn Hall, and Breegan George took second in the girls’ 4x200 meter relay with a time of 2:01.10, behind Sidney’s leading 1:59.84.

LaFever, Winans, Baldwin, and Madalynn Beardslee took second in the girls’ 4x800 with a time of 11:59.82.

Brenna George, Madisyn Larsen, Henderson, and Keelan Ammon took second in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 53.10 seconds, behind Sidney’s leading 52.76 seconds.
