NHS Tennis Shuts Out Seton Catholic

NORWICH— The Norwich Purple Tornado boys’ tennis team hosted Seton Catholic on Monday afternoon, where Norwich came away with the 7-0 shutout victory.

Liam Hunter defeated Cooper Guy in the first singles in three sets with scores of 5-7, 6-3, and 6-0.

Joey Hall won against Sean Lee 6-2 and 7-6 (7-3) in the second singles.

Vinny Lawson defeated Dominick Williamson 6-3 and 6-1 as Tim Guzewich played a tough match against Jack Bouton, but won 6-4 and 7-6 (7-4).

Troy Schack and Nick Hall took the first doubles in three sets with scores of 4-6, 6-3, and 6-0.

Jacob Lobdell and Robert Johnson won 7-5 and 6-1 in their match as Fisher Rivenburg and Finn Christofferson swept the doubles with a 6-3, 6-0 victory.

Norwich (4-4) hosts Oneonta in their final regular season match this evening at 5:30 p.m.
