BAINBRIDGE— The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats softball team hosted MAC league opponent Harpursville on Monday afternoon, where the Bobcats’ bats were hot in a 15-0 victory.
B-G scored at least one run in every inning with four runs in the fourth inning.
The Bobcats scored 15 runs on 20 hits with Jayslin Henderson leading the way with four hits and two RBIs.
Brenna George, Breanna Casey, Emma Kinter (two doubles), and Alessandra Cafasso (two doubles) all had three hits as Casey drove in three runs and Cafasso and Kinter both drove in two.
Kaylin Furgason had two hits while Morgan Prisco (double) and Zoe Payne both had one hit and Tori Suda and Payne both drove in runs.
Cafasso worked five and a third innings, allowing just one hit, two walks, and struck out eight batters. Hope Blackman got the final two outs in the sixth and allowed just three hits.
B-G (5-3) heads to Sidney on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
