OXFORD—The Oxford Blackhawks tennis team defeated Deposit-Hancock in shutout fashion in a 5-0 victory on Monday.

Emily Williams got the Blackhawks started with a 6-0, 6-2 victory in the first singles as Richard Hunter won 6-1, 6-0 and Gaven Dibble swept the singles with a 6-0, 6-1 win.

Margaret Rovente and Bennett Paden worked a strong first doubles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory while Jayne Fleury and Paige Rickard also earned the 6-0, 6-0 win in the second doubles.

Oxford hosts Bainbridge-Guilford this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
