H/A Baseball Drops To Schenevus/CV On The Road

SCHENEVUS— The Harpursville/Afton Crimson Hornets baseball team took on non-league opponent Schenevus/Charlotte Valley on the road on Friday afternoon. H/A fell 14-2.

The Crimson Hornets got a run in the top of the first as Trenton Franklin singled to drive in a run.

H/A scored its second and final run of the contest on an error in the top of the third.

Davin Warren also had a hit in the loss.

Paul Shelton started on the mound for the Crimson Hornets, allowing six unearned runs on one hit, a walk, and struck out seven batters. Franklin pitched an inning in relief, allowing seven earned runs on five hits, and four walks.

Blake Rowe worked the final inning, allowing one unearned run on one hit, two walks, and had two strikeouts.

H/A (2-6) heads to B-G this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
