CONKLIN—The Norwich Purple Tornado flag football team came up short to Sus Valley on Wednesday night, 8-6.

Norwich had a fourth and goal with 3:30 left in the contest but got stopped by the Sabers.

Norwich's Josey Ryan went 24 for 33 for 118 yards and a touchdown. She also ran for 83 yards.

Daphney Frank had a one yard touchdown pass to cut the deficit in the the fourth quarter and also had a pass deflection on defense.

Reagan Decker had an interception on defense while Brynley Ryan led the team with nine flag pulls and had a sack.

Brooklyn Burke had seven flag pulls in the loss.

Norwich will resume its game against Johnson City on April 28th, where the Purple Tornado are currently leading 21-0.
