CLINTON—Coming off a big win against Dolgeville on the road, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves softball team traveled to take on the Clinton Comets.
Clinton took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first before S-E took a 2-1 lead in the seocnd inning.
Both teams continued to go back-and-forth with Clinton holding a 6-5 lead before S-E tied it in the top of the seventh inning to send the game to extras.
S-E's Kendall Hill and Kamrynn Hill (double) led the team with two hits as Grace Tackabury had a hit and an RBI.
Tatum Babcock and Bailey Hackett also had hits.
S-E also drew 14 walks in the win.
Julia Lein pitched a complete game, allowing six runs (five earned) on 10 hits, nine walks, and struck out 12 batters.
