JOHNSON CITY— The Bainbridge-Guilford, Harpursville/Afton, and Unadilla Valley track and field teams traveled to Johnson City on a hot Saturday afternoon to compete in the Square Deal Invite.
The B-G girls came in fourth place with a total of 33 points as Harpursville/Afton finished 19th with 11 points and the Storm girls did not place.
The B-G boys tied for 11th place with Horseheads with 22 points.

Girls’ Track:
Keelan Ammon competed in the girls’ outdoor pentathlon, where she finished seventh overall. The sophomore finished eighth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 20.18 seconds, ninth in the high jump (1.28m), seventh in the shot put (6.39m), sixth in the long jump (4.36m), and her best finish was third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:49.42.
Laila Williams finished fourth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.09 seconds as Madisyn Larsen took fifth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.36 seconds.
Larsen won the 400 meter hurdles with the fastest time of 1:10.36.
Williams also ran the 400 meter event, where she finished 26th with a time of 1:11.29 with Isabel Suda in 39th place with a time of 1:15.38.
Lalaenia Baldwin came in 14th in the 2000 meter steeplechase with a time of 9:40.85 while Jalyn Winans finished 25th in the 1500 meter run with a time of 6:08.78.
