NEW BERLIN—The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats and the Unadilla Valley Storm baseball teams met on Tuesday for a local MAC matchup.

B-G came away with the 17-3 victory to improve to 4-1 on the season.

The Bobcats had a strong start with a seven-run first inning.

Parker Buttice drew a lead-off walk and stole a base and scored on Connor Davy's RBI single.

Davy stole a base and scored on Anthony Cafasso's RBI single before Cafasso scored on an error.

Isaiah Hampton had a groundout RBI and Jaxson McGraw drove in two runs on a two-out single and a run came in on a bases-loaded walk.

The Storm got one back in the bottom of the first on an error.

B-G added three more runs in the top of the second as Davis Barnard had a two-run double and then a run came in on a wild pitch.

UV scored two more in the bottom half of the inning as Declan Potter had a RBI triple and then scored on a passed ball.

B-G had a seven run fifth inning.

Anthony Cafasso finished with two hits and two RBIs as Aidan Haynes had two hits and Davis Barnard with the two RBIs.

Jaxson McGraw led the Bobcats with two hits and four RBIs.

Aidan Haynes worked four strong innings on the mound for B-G, allowing three runs (one earned) on two hits, two walks, and struck out six batters.

Micah Casey worked the fifth inning, only allowing two walks.

B-G (4-1) hosts Unatego/Franklin on Friday at 4:30 p.m. while UV (0-3) heads to Delhi on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
