STOCKBRIDGE—The Otselic Valley Vikings softball team got the 2025-26 season underway on Monday at Stockbridge. OV fell 13-1.

OV scored its lone run in the top of the fifth inning as Miranda Hackett scored. Hackett led the team with two hits on the day, including a double.

Baleigh Dubois also had a double as Emma Miller had a single in the loss.

Dubois also worked five innings on the mound for the Vikings, allowing 13 runs (seven earned) on seven hits, five walks, and struck out two batters.

OV (0-1) hosts McGraw next Tuesday, April 21 at 4:30 p.m.
