Norwich Baseball Drops To SV

CONKLIN— The Norwich Purple Tornado baseball team concluded its three game-set with Sus Valley late Friday morning on the road. Norwich fell 12-0.

Norwich was held to two hits on the day, where the Purple Tornado had finally got a hit by Joey Parker to lead-off the fifth inning.

Noah Eddy had Norwich's other hit while Zack Parker, Zac Turner, and Carmine Pastore all reached base on walks.

Noah Eddy got the start on the mound for Norwich, going three innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on one hit, six walks, and one strikeout.

Michael Brunick replaced Eddy in the fourth inning and allowed five runs (one earned) on zero hits, and three walks.

Pierce Sherman came in and worked two and two thirds, allowing two runs on three hits, four walks, and struck out two batters.

Norwich (0-4) heads to face Walton/Downsville this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
