GREENE— The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats squared off against a tough Delhi Bulldogs team in the 2026 MAC girls’ basketball championship game, played at Greene High School on Saturday afternoon. Delhi went on a 9-0 run to start the fourth quarter, after B-G’s Emma Kinter tied the game at 29 at the end of the third quarter with a three.

The Bulldogs won its first MAC championship game with a close 43-38 victory, where they outscored B-G 14-9 in the fourth quarter. B-G’s only two losses on the season come from Delhi.

Delhi girls and boys swept the MAC championship game victories.

Jayslin Henderson led the Bobcats with 13 points, putting up six of those 13 in the final eight minutes of the game. She also finished with seven rebounds.

Emma Kinter, who hit a big three to tie the game at the end of the third quarter, finished with nine points all in the third quarter. She also went three-for-four at the free-throw line.

Marissa Mayo added six points and had a team-high 12 rebounds as Kamry Patten hit a crucial three in the fourth quarter and finished with four points, along with Tori Suda.

Peyton Umbra finished with two points in the loss.

B-G heads to Sectionals, where the Bobcats host Greene on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
