BAINBRIDGE— The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats girls’ basketball team is heading to the 2025-26 MAC championship game! The Lady Bobcats defeated Walton/Downsville 56-32 in Friday’s semifinal game.
B-G will now take on top-seeded Delhi, whom is their only loss this season, at Greene High School on Saturday afternoon.
B-G stayed strong on both ends of the quarter as its defense held the Crush, powered by Grace Walley, to eight points in every quarter. The Bobcats’ offense played consistently up tempo throughout the contest.
Emma Kinter led B-G with 13 points, knocking down three three-pointers in the first half. She also had seven rebounds.
Tori Suda followed with 11 points, six rebounds, and had three assists. She scored six points in the final eight minutes.
Kamry Patten finished with nine points as Marissa Mayo had eight points as well as a team-high nine rebounds and five steals.
Peyton Umbra added six points in the second half, along with six rebounds and six assists.
Jalyn Winans finished with five points in the first half while Jayslin Henderson had four points and four assists in the win.
B-G takes on Delhi on Saturday at Greene High School at 3 p.m.
