DOWNSVILLE— Coming off a victory over Owego on Tuesday, the Norwich Purple Tornado girls’ basketball team traveled to Downsville to take on non-league opponent Walton/Downsville. Norwich came away with the 58-40 victory.

The Purple Tornado could not contain the Crush’s Grace Walley, who had a double-double with 25 points and 14 rebounds, but had a full-team effort to secure their third straight win.

After a stellar performance the night before, Brynley Ryan and Josey Ryan both led Norwich with 16 points.

Emma Urgo added 15 points in the win.

Norwich (11-2) hosts Windsor for Senior Night on Friday at 7:15 p.m.
