GREENE— The Oxford-Greene wrestling team took on Sidney for a rescheduled match before the Sectional qualifiers this coming weekend. Oxford-Greene earned the close 41-36 win on Tuesday night.

Jaxson Dicenzo, Troy Braman, Tallan Davis, and David Dunckel all received wins by forfeit as Sidney had just one win by forfeit in the 165 pound weight class.

Kade Mustin and Donte Wrench fought hard in O-G’s two live action match wins.

Mustin won by tech fall 18-2 against Sidney’s Donavin Eggleston in the 138 pound weight class.

Wrench defeated Nathan Strauss in a quick :25 pin at 285 pounds.

Colton Hurlburt fought hard at 118 pounds for O-G, but fell to Justice Steele in a 5:28 pin.

Anthony Bourn fell to Kellen Begeal in a 3:40 pin at 126 pounds.

Cameron Smith fell in a 2:29 pin to Broc Higley at 132 pounds.

Braylen Beebe and Zyden Johnson also fell in pins in their respective weight classes.

O-G finished 7-5 in dual meets this season. Good luck at the Sectional Qualifiers.
