WALTON— The Unadilla Valley Storm boys’ basketball team traveled to Walton to face the Walton/Downsvile Crush in a MAC league contest. UV fell 64-32 on Tuesday night.
The Storm were held to just four points in the first quarter with baskets by Denzel Peter and Braden Golliver. UV picked up the pace in the next eight minutes, but were already down by 16. Walton/Downsville took a 30-14 lead at halftime and never looked back.
Denzel Peter led the Storm with 11 points, including nine in the second half.
Braden Golliver followed with seven points, all in the first half.
Brodey Cattanach added five points off the bench in the third quarter as Taylor Hodge hit a three in the second quarter.
Declan Potter, Tristan Collins, and Kaleb Smith all finished with two points in the loss.
UV (0-17) hosts Sidney in their final home game of the season on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
