SHERBURNE— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves boys’ basketball team honored its five seniors on Friday prior to tip-off vs Hamilton. Congratulations to Michael Behret, Austin Clark, Tomek Jusianiec, Camden Marino, and Hadden Price (team manager).

Jusianiec also played the national anthem on his electric guitar, just like he did for his football senior night.

Jusianiec and Behret opened up the contest with back-to-back three pointers as Clark had a basket to have three straight senior scores. S-E jumped to an early lead.

However, Hamilton rallied and had a 29-26 brief lead at the half.

The Emerald Knights excelled in the third quarter and held S-E to six points after the break. S-E tried to rally in the final eight minutes, but fell 68-45.

Jordan Palmer led the Timberwolves with 11 points as Bryce Bevilacqua had seven and Behret with two three’s for six points.
