SOUTH OTSELIC—The Otselic Valley Vikings boys' basketball team returned home on Tuesday night to take on McGraw in a league matchup. OV fell to the Eagles 70-48 and stand at an even 8-8 with only a few games remaining.
After an even first quarter, McGraw stepped up their game and left OV unable to recover.
OV's Lukas Scheiferstein led the team with 17 points, limited after two-straight 30-point games.
Schieferstein also went three-for-four at the free-throw line.
Caleb Loomis added 14 points with four assists, three rebounds, and three steals.
Owen Davis finished with seven points and three steals as Logan Foster and Konyr Clemens both had four points and Alex Doroshenko with two points.
Tommy Kenyon had a team-high of five rebounds for the Vikings in the loss.
OV (8-8) heads to DeRuyter on Friday at 7 p.m.
