Afton Girls Come Up Short Against Deposit-Hancock

AFTON— The Afton Crimson Knights girls’ basketball team hosted Deposit-Hancock on Friday in a MAC league contest. Afton came up short 53-49.

Rylee Rupakus went off for the Crimson Knights with a double-double. She had a team-high 23 points with two three-pointers and had 12 rebounds.

Appalonia Bushaw added 12 points with two three’s and finished with nine steals.

Megan Racine finished with six points as Misty Bushaw, Briella Fendick, McKenna Ross, and Jordan Phillips all had a basket in the loss.

Afton (5-7) head to Bainbridge to take on the Bobcats on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
