CANASTOTA— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves girls’ basketball team picked up its sixth straight win in a close 42-34 victory over Canastota. S-E improves to 10-5 on the season.

S-E trailed in the second half, but as in the previous game, where they were down 10, they once again stepped up and made the comeback.

Morgan Mikalunas led the Timberwolves with 19 points with eight rebounds, seven steals, and three assists.

She also went eight-for-14 at the free-throw line.

Natalie Knickerbocker added nine points with two-three’s and went three-for-four at the free-throw line.

Brynn Shaver and Abbie Green both finished with four points. Green led the team with nine rebounds.

Peyton Darragh, Cora Franklin, and Marley Goedel all had two points in the win.
