BROOKFIELD—The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves girls' basketball team earned its third straight win on Wednesday night, coming away with a 41-29 road victory at Brookfield.
After a slow start by both teams, S-E picked up the pace before the break to take a 20-12 lead.
Coming out for the second half, both teams played a strong eight minutes with S-E continuing to stay up tempo.
Both teams slowed things down again, but S-E was able to maintain the solid lead.
S-E also forced 30 turnovers, had 18 steals, and blocked nine shots.
Brynn Shaver led the team with a career-high five blocks.
Morgan Mikalunas had a team-high 20 points, nine rebounds, and seven steals.
Kendall Hill added nine points in the win.
S-E (7-5) hosts Canastota this evening at 7 p.m.
