B-G Girls Stay Unbeaten In Win Over Richfield Springs

BAINBRIDGE— The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats girls’ basketball team hosted non-league opponent Richfield Springs on Wednesday night. The Bobcats stayed unbeaten with a 52-35 victory.

B-G held its opponent to single-digits, except in the second quarter, but B-G played up tempo the throughout the entire game.

Marissa Mayo had a phenomenal game for the Bobcats as she led the team with 26 points, including six three-pointers.

Mayo also posted a double-double on the night with 11 rebounds and had a team-high six steals.

Jalyn Winans and Tori Suda both had six points as Emma Kinter and Jayslin Henderson finished with four points each. Kinter went two-for-two at the free-throw line.

Peyton Umbra and Kamry Patten both added three points in the win. Umbra led the team with 10 assists.

B-G (10-0) hosts Unadilla Valley this evening at 7:15 p.m.
