SHERBURNE-- The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves girls' basketball team hosted Mount Markham in a non-league contest. S-E defeated the Mustangs 48-23 to climb one game above .500 and have won back-to-back games.

The Lady Timberwolves held Mount Markham to single-digits in every quarter, highlighting an incredible defense while the offense played steadily throughout the contest.

Morgan Mikalunas led S-E with 15 points and had eight steals and eight assists. Abbie Green posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 steals, along with seven rebounds.

Kendall Hill and Peyton Darragh both finished with six points while Cora Franklin and Brynn Shaver had three points each in the win.

S-E (6-5) heads to Brookfield on Wednesday.
