S-E Girls Snap Two Game Skid With Big Win Over Morrisville-Eaton

SHERBURNE-- The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves girls' basketball team hosted the Morrisville-Eaton Mavericks on Friday night. S-E snapped a two-game skid with a big 55-27 victory to sit even at 5-5 on the season.

S-E played a strong first half as they held Morrisville-Eaton to five points within the first 16 minutes, including a single free-throw in the first quarter. S-E led 33-5 at halftime and did not look back from there, continuing to stay hot even with the Mavericks trying to get something going after the break.

S-E had three players in double-digits, including Abbie Green and Morgan Mikalunas both posting double-doubles.

Green led the team with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and had three steals. Kendall Hill finished with 15 points while Mikalunas had 12 points, including three three's, 10 rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks.

Peyton Darragh added six points and six rebounds as Cora Franklin had three points and Marley Goedel with two points in the win.

S-E (5-5) hosts Mount Markham this evening at 7 p.m.
