S-E Bowling Sweeps Clinton In First Match Of The New Year

EARLVILLE— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves bowling team returned to action on Thursday, January 8 at their own Hi-Skor Lanes to take on Clinton. It was S-E’s first match of the new year and fifth match of the season overall.

The Timberwolves picked up the 5-0 sweep with a final score of 2476 to 1334.

Leland Smith led S-E with a 583 series, including a 204 in his third game. Nick Jenkins followed with a 515 series as Matthew Morgan finished with a 500 series. Both Jenkins and Morgan rolled a 181 each for their highest game of the night.

Adam Singh bowled a 470 series as Landon Prosser and Collin Pattee shared time on the lanes. Prosser rolled two games with a 152 and a 183 to have a 285 series and Pattee had a 123 game.

S-E is currently 4-1 on the season and 2-1 in the CSC Division II. The Timberwolves take on Cooperstown at home on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
