UV Bowling Splits With Sidney

SIDNEY — On Tuesday night, the Unadilla Valley Storm bowling program traveled to take on the Sidney Sabers. The UV girls won all but one game while the Storm boys were swept.

The Storm girls won the overall series 2562 to 2548, just securing the victory.

Natalie Smith led the UV girls with a 609 series, which was her first 600 series, including rolling a 211 and a 217. Kylie Menard followed with a 560 series and rolled a 199 in her second game, which was a perfect game for her with no open frames. Way to go, ladies.

Amelia Beckwith finished with a 515 series as Layla Stevens had a 499 series and Sarina Bell with a 379 series.

The Storm boys fell 2755 to 2511 overall. Teagin Eccleston led UV with a 599 series, including a high game of a 227 as Landin Eccleston bowled a 567 series with a 211 and a 200 game.

Brayden Prentice rolled a 542 series while Zack Dutcher had a 440 series and Hunter Miller and Gavyn Bass split time on the lanes.

Miller bowled two games with scores of 133 and 128, totaling 261, while Bass had a 102 game.

UV heads to Ripics for the Baker tournament today , starting at 10 a.m.
