OV Girls Fall To Brookfield

SOUTH OTSELIC — The Otselic Valley Vikings girls’ basketball team hosted Brookfield on Tuesday, falling short 42-32. After a strong start in the contest, the Vikings slowed down offensively and couldn’t pick themselves back up.

Brookfield had three players that finished in double figures while OV did see strong play from its leading scorer Miranda Hackett with strong rebounders alongside her.

Hackett led the Vikings with a double-double as she scored 20 points, including two three-pointers, and had 10 rebounds, and a team-high six steals.

Skyler Graham finished with three points and three rebounds as Emma Rooker also had three points and five rebounds.

Bella Sayles had two points while Mackenzie Reandeau also had two points and led the team with 18 rebounds and had three steals. Abby White added two points as well in the loss.

OV (0-6) heads to McGraw on Friday at 6 p.m.
