BINGHAMTON— The Greene Trojans boys’ basketball team competed in the Mirabito Coaches vs Cancer Invitational at Visions Veterans Memorial Arena over the weekend. The Trojans fell in both games played.

While the scoreboard didn't favor the Greene boys this weekend, the team showed plenty of heart competing for a greater cause at the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Invitational.

On Saturday, the Trojans faced Chenango Valley, where they fell 63-29. Keegan Waltz led Greene with 10 points. In Sunday’s 74-32 loss to Sus Valley, Lee Dopp led the Trojans with eight points.

Greene (1-6) heads to Bainbridge-Guilford on Jan. 6 at 7:15 p.m. to resume MAC league play.
