Check out this amazing musical line-up: Starting on Valentine’s Day, February 14 at 7 p.m., and right in time for Mardi Gras, two-time Grammy-awarded Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience will grace the 1892 historic stage.
On March 13 at 7 p.m., right in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Tannahill Weavers will celebrate 58 years touring as an award-winning Celtic group from Scotland.
April 11 at 7 p.m. brings The Lightfoot Band, legendary musicians from the original Gordon Lightfoot Band. These are the seasoned musicians who collaborated with Gordon on his world-famous recordings and toured extensively with him here in North America and internationally for many decades. On May 2 at 7 p.m. Hubby Jenkins joins us. He’s an American multi-instrumentalist who studies and performs old-time American music. He is a former member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops and the Rhiannon Giddens Band and has been nominated for Grammy and Americana awards.
June 5 brings the much-awaited Carsie Blanton, a songwriter with hooks, chutzpah, and revolutionary optimism. Inspired by artist-activists including Nina Simone and Woody Guthrie, her catalog careens through American popular song from folk and swing to pop-punk protest anthems, and she recently returned from a flotilla mission to Gaza with humanitarian aid only to be captured and released by the Israeli government.
October 17 at 7 p.m. brings The Weight Band, an American rock band composed of band leader, renowned guitarist Jim Weider (The Band, Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble Band, Jim Weider Band), keyboardist Brian Mitchell (Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble Band), bassist Albert Rogers (Jim Weider Band, Jimmy Vivino), drummer Michael Bram (Jason Mraz) and keyboardist Matt Zeiner (Dickey Betts). This veteran quintet shares a deep appreciation and knowledge for keeping the music of The Band alive, which Weider describes as the “Woodstock Sound”.
And… to wrap up the season, The Gibson Brothers present “A Northern Country Christmas” on Sunday, December 13 at 2 p.m. They are a highly acclaimed and multi-awarded family farming band from the Adirondacks known to many local dairy farming families in the area, plus an EOH favorite.
