CANASTOTA—The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves wrestling team traveled to Canastota on Wednesday night, returning home with a big 62-18 victory.
Drew Telesky, who ranks first in the state at 103 pounds, won by a 17-1 tech fall as S-E's Freddy Smith pinned Colton Smith in :46 seconds.
Andrew LaFrance pinned Preston Rich in 2:25 at 118 as Manny Hollins received a win by forefit at 138.
Aiden Shreve and Josh Evans both fell in pins in their respective weight classes.
S-E's Noah Ackermann won by a 6-2 decision as Jonathan Conklin had a quick :19 second pin in the 150 weight class.
Justin Race also had a quick pin at :26 seconds at 157 and teammate Trenton Anderson received a win by forfeit.
Canastota picked up a win by forfeit in the 175 class.
S-E's Richie Fuller pinned Luken Gaiser in 3:44 at 190 as Alex Campbell had a quick :49 second pin at 215 and Andrew Menard received six points on a forfeit.
S-E heads to the Cato-Meridian Blue Devil Duals on Saturday at 9 a.m.
