ONEONTA— After hosting the Coach K duals, the Norwich Purple Tornado Wrestling team traveled to Oneonta for the dual meet. The Purple Tornado fell 48-23.

Oneonta picked up four forfeits in the win.

Eighth grader Koltyn Collins earned a win in a 3:34 pin in the 110 weight class as Jadyn Carpenter pinned Oneonta’s Zak Weissman in 3:07 in the 132 weight class. Maverick Beckwith stayed hot with a win by tech fall 20-4 over Alan Little and Collin Howe got the win by a 3:37 pin in the 215 weight class.

Bryce Wellington fell in a tough 11-7 decision at 144 as Kolby Vielandi was pinned in :58 seconds at 150.

Kolden Downey fell just short to Oneonta’s Muzamil Rasuli in a 15-14 decision at 157 pounds.

Konner Philbrook was pinned in 3:31 at 190 and Noah Shack was pinned in :27 seconds at 285.

Norwich hosts BGAH at home on Thursday at 6 p.m.
