HAMILTON — The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves boys’ basketball team made a short trip to play non-league opponent Hamilton on Tuesday night. The Timberwolves fell 63-51 and are now 3-2 on the season.
It was a slow first quarter for both teams, trying to figure each other out, but then Hamilton picked up the pace before the break. The Emerald Knights led 21-17 at halftime.
Even though S-E was down by a small-margin at the break, they could not make any big moves in the second half as Hamilton kept a steady pace right along with them.
