SAUQUOIT VALLEY — After a big weekend at home, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves girls’ basketball team hit the road for the first CSC league game of the season at Sauquoit Valley. The Lady Timberwolves fell short 56-48.
Both teams played at a steady pace all night, but Sauquoit Valley was just a bit more ahead, where S-E could not make any big moves. Sauquoit Valley also had a leading scorer that finished with 32 points and could not be stopped.

Natalie Knickerbocker finished with 10 points and Abbie Green contributed with 13 rebounds in the loss.
S-E (3-2) heads to Hamilton on Monday at 7 p.m.
